Orlando, Fla., August 5, 2019 —AdventHealth Medical Group is pleased to announce the opening of a new family medicine practice in Dr. Phillips. Lauren Conroy, MD, is now accepting new patients ages seven and older.
“We’re very excited to have Dr. Conroy and our new family practice in the Dr. Phillips area," said Deborah Haywood, Vice President of Operations, Primary Care. "Her comprehensive training in family medicine will be of great benefit to this growing community.”
Lauren Conroy, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician. She sees patients ages seven years and up at our brand-new practice within the beautiful Dellagio shopping plaza in the heart of the Dr. Phillips neighborhood. Along with providing care for acute and chronic illness in patients aged seven and up, Dr. Conroy’s special interests include health maintenance, women’s health, family planning, Type 2 diabetes management, headache management, and dermatologic procedures. Dr. Conroy graduated in the top third of her medical school class at the University of Florida and went on to serve as Chief Resident of family medicine there.
During this time, she earned numerous accolades including the Excellence in Family Medicine Award, Resident of the Year designation and two resident teacher awards.
